Ben Chai talks to Magnus Nyström, Technical Director at RSA. In this Podcast, Magnus explores Authentification, Validation and Delegation as well as vendor collaboration in the field of security.

Magnus Nystrom joined RSA Laboratories in 1998. His research interests include smart cards, security architectures and cryptographic protocols.

He received his M.Sc. from the University of Uppsala, Sweden in 1990 and has been working in the field since then.

In 1996, he joined the Swedish company DynaSoft, later acquired by RSA Security Inc., where he held a position as an Engineering Manager with responsibility for implementations of Public Key Technology.

In 1999 he became the first manager of RSA Laboratories' European office and is the author and co-author of several conference papers on security architectures and cryptographic protocols.

He also serves as the editor of several national and international standards documents in the cryptography/computer security area.

Magnus is a member of the ACM and the Usenix organization.
