As Christmas time draws near the "Cool Gadgets" that usually surface are hitting in full force.

My favorite gadget so far this holiday season is definitely the Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player.

Expected to hit our shelves on November 21st the unit acts as an intermediary between your computer and your TV, delivering High Definition video with ease.

Basically the WD TV HD Media Player works by plugging the unit into your computers USB port and then plugging the other end into your TV's HDMI input port, the device then transfers your computers High Definition videos directly to your TV in crisp HDMI output with perfect data flow.

You can also plug your USB drive directly into the unit and play you video content directly off your USB drive while using the included remote control to play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop your video.

It's priced as the perfect holiday gift. Check out the WD TV HD Media Player By Western Digital.
