If you can’t live without your IT you outsource. It is a cost but then how important is your business?

If you need IT to survive then it’s important to do it properly. For smaller businesses buying into long expensive contracts can be enough to turn them off working with an outsourcing provider.

But it’s worth investigating as some providers offer short term contracts or pay as you go solutions.

It’s also important to ensure they do what they say on an SLA. But always check if they provide hundreds of compensation packages because in reality you won’t care how much money you get back if your service goes down – you will want to know it’s being fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

DO check that a provider is proactive and not just reactive.

Do check that a company cares if something goes wrong and is willing to go that extra mile to fix the issue.
